Ms. Jana is a nervous system educator, speaker, and founder of Weaving Legacy, a relational healing ecosystem for caregivers, educators, neurodivergent humans, and deep feelers learning to live beyond survival mode.
Her work helps people understand behavior through attunement rather than control, offering nervous system support, emotional regulation, and trauma-informed care rooted in humanity instead of performance.
At the heart of her work is a simple but transformative truth:
Regulation is not becoming someone new.
It is coming home to who we already are beneath the brace.
As a late-realized neurodivergent educator with two decades of experience in early childhood education, Jana brings both lived experience and professional depth to conversations around burnout, emotional overwhelm, sensory sensitivity, co-regulation, and relational healing.
She has trained thousands of educators, administrators, caregivers, and organizations to better understand nervous system patterns, emotional safety, and the hidden impact of misattuned systems on children and adults alike.
Her guiding ethic is simple and radical: Attunement is the act of allowing space and grace for someone else to call themselves home.
Jana’s work restores nervous system sovereignty, the ability to notice the brace, listen to the body, and return to truth in real time.
Through storytelling, nervous system literacy, systems critique, and relational practice, she helps audiences understand the deeper architecture beneath burnout, behavior, chronic stress, and survival mode.
Her work reframes:
-
behavior as communication
-
meltdowns as overwhelm
-
sensitivity as wisdom
-
regulation as a relationship
-
healing as reconnection rather than performance
Jana believes much of the suffering experienced by neurodivergent people comes from environments that prioritize normalization over understanding.
At the same time, she openly acknowledges that neurodivergent processing can absolutely be disabling within systems that were never designed for different nervous systems, sensory needs, or relational rhythms.
Her work does not deny challenge. It asks a different question:
What becomes possible when we stop trying to fix people and begin building environments rooted in attunement, access, regulation, and belonging?

Her voice is warm, direct, deeply human, equal parts nervous-system balm and truth-telling. She speaks to the parts of us that became overextended, overperforming, and disconnected from ourselves while trying to survive systems that never knew how to hold us.

When nervous systems change, systems change. This is the core belief that guides Weaving Legacy.

What She Teaches
With over two decades of educational experience, Jana weaves neurobiological depth with lived neurodivergent experience in every training, course, and offering.
Her approach blends:
-
Nervous-system science
-
Trauma awareness
-
Spiritual depth
-
Mythic storytelling
-
Neurodivergent brilliance
-
Practical strategies for everyday moments
Her work helps people understand that children are not broken; our systems are. She offers a radical inversion: the environment must evolve to meet human needs. She teaches that presence, not performance, is the true foundation for learning and growth, and that belonging, not compliance, is the measure of a healthy system.
